Privacy
Privacy is the architecture, not the afterthought.
Two things to read here: how Proqtor handles data inside a customer deployment, and what this marketing site does (almost nothing) with yours.

Who controls the data
The controller for this website is ProqtorAI Holdings LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its registered office at 1021 E Lincolnway #7441, Cheyenne, WY 82001, United States. For questions about anything below, write to [email protected]. Inside a customer deployment the roles invert: the customer is the controller of their own data, and Proqtor acts under their direction with access they grant and can revoke.
Your data stays in your environment; we only ever see usage numbers
When Proqtor puts AI agents to work inside a customer environment, the sensitive material never moves to us. The documents, the questions asked, and the full record of every step stay in the customer environment (their own cloud account, their datacenter, a specific country or region, or a device in the field). We run one dashboard for setup, monitoring, and oversight that uses only usage numbers (cost, speed, error rates), through access the customer approves. We configure access, data sharing, and retention to the customer's own policies and the regulations they operate under.
- Stays in your environment
- Your documents, the questions asked, the answers given, and the full record of every step.
- All we ever see
- Usage numbers only: what it cost, how fast it answered, how often it failed, and which version ran.
- Encryption keys
- Yours. You hold your own keys, in your own key vault.
- Access
- Least-privilege, customer-approved, time-boxed, and logged.
Where Proqtor processes personal data on a customer's behalf, that processing is governed by a Data Processing Agreement signed alongside the engagement, not by this website policy. We provide a DPA, including the GDPR Article 28 terms and a list of any sub-processors, on request.
What we do not do
- No employee surveillance. Agent runs are observed; people are not.
- No individual productivity scoring. The record of every step is tied to a workflow and a role, never to a named person.
- No emotion recognition, and no inference of sensitive traits from workplace activity.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of customer data with third parties.
Regulatory awareness
Proqtor is built with the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the EU AI Act in view. Workplace monitoring sits in a high-risk category under the AI Act, so we monitor at the workflow level and keep humans accountable for consequential actions. Where data residency is required, agents run in the region you specify, and we name the jurisdiction rather than gesture at it.
Where the GDPR applies, our limited processing rests on legitimate interests: running a functional, low-data website and responding to people who contact us. The language cookie is strictly necessary for the function you asked for. Our traffic analytics is cookieless and stores no personal data, so there is no consent banner to click.
This marketing site
The site you are reading is deliberately quiet. It stores the bare minimum needed to remember your language and theme, and nothing else. For traffic we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless, stores no IP address or personal data, and never follows you across sites. There are no advertising pixels and no cross-site trackers.
- proqtor-lang
- A first-party cookie that remembers whether you prefer English or Spanish.
- proqtor-theme
- A localStorage value that remembers your light or dark theme choice. It never leaves your browser.
See the Cookie Policy for how to clear these. We do not build advertising profiles. The only external script we load is Cloudflare’s cookieless analytics beacon, which counts an anonymous page view and reads no personal data; our fonts and everything else are served from our own domain.
How long we keep it
For the marketing site we keep almost nothing. The language and theme values live in your own browser, not on our servers. If you email us, we keep that correspondence only as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of the conversation, then delete it on request. Inside a customer deployment, retention of prompts, traces, and logs is set by the customer's own retention policy in the customer's environment; we do not impose a retention period on data we never hold.
International data transfers
Proqtor's controlling entity is in the United States. If you contact us from the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, the email you send reaches us in the US. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or an equivalent approved mechanism, to protect that transfer. For customer deployments the point is moot by design: agents and data run in the region you specify, so regulated data does not leave its jurisdiction to make the product work.
California and US state privacy
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used under the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar US state laws. Because we collect so little, most categories simply do not apply. Residents of California and of other states with comparable laws may still exercise the access and deletion rights described below by emailing [email protected], and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
Children's data
This site is for business audiences and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Security incidents
If a security incident affects personal data we hold, we will notify affected parties and, where the law requires it, the relevant supervisory authority, without undue delay. For customer deployments, the trace and audit trail we describe on the Security page is what lets you investigate and report an incident in your own environment.
Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you can ask what we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or object to a particular use. For the marketing site that surface is small by design. To exercise a right, or to reach a human, email [email protected].
